With faint dry sound,
Like steps of passing ghosts,
The leaves, frost-crisp’d, break from the trees
Crapsey (1878-1914) is not much remembered now, but she left one important poetic legacy: the cinquain, or five-line unrhymed stanza form, modeled on the Japanese haiku. A number of her cinquains touch upon autumnal themes, and ‘November Night’ is the finest of these. (Though as Crapsey was an American poet we should probably describe ‘November Night’ as a great Fall poem.)
Thank you for allowing us to serve you. We wish you all a safe and beautiful fall season.

Feature Highlight: Calendar Integration
Even When You’re On-The-Go
If you shuttle between multiple clinics, facilities, or patient homes, keeping your patient schedule and your administrative schedule (office meetings, PTO, etc.) in sync can be a nightmare. We have a simple solution. SMARTMD now offers the ability for you to integrate between your two worlds. So the next time you open the familiar calendar app on your phone, you’ll know exactly where to be.
- Works with Office 365, Outlook, Google, and Apple calendar.
- Facility or clinic appointments appear as an event on your personal calendar, so you know where you need to be (surgery center, SNF, ALF, hospital).
- Home visits appear as individual visits on your personal calendar.
- Schedulers see your work meetings as blocks so they know not to schedule patient visits when you’re not available.
- Syncs within minutes so everyone is always up to date.
